Upgrade vDP 5.8 to 6.0.2.4<\/p>\n
Download ISO.
\nShutdown the vDP appliance (nicely \u2013 use VMware tools, guest OS shutdown)
\nEdit settings \u2013 got to each virtual disk except for disk 1, and make them all dependent
\nSnapshot the vDP appliance.
\nPower up the vDP VM.
\nWait for the blue instruction screen (web management advice)
\nAttach the ISO and make sure the device status is Connected checked so you can see the upgrade under the upgrade tab
\nWait (apparently according to the instructions the appliance can take a while)
\nGo to https:\/\/10.10.1.10:8543\/vdp-configure\/
\nOn the config tab, make sure all services are running
\nGo to the upgrade tab
\nUpgrade \u2013 this can take a while \u2013 I mean, an hour to four.
\nAfter it finishes, it will power down the vDP appliance, if the vDP VM is not off, shutdown from the VM tools.
\nDelete the Snapshot you created in step 4
\nEdit settings, make all the disks Independent \u2010 Persistent (except disk 1)
\nClick on CD\/DVD drive and change back to Host Device
\nPower on.
